Live Life...

butterfly woman

sometimes we search so much for the right choices...for the right paths to walk through...for the right time...for the right person...and for the right reasons...but life isn't about searching for things that can be found....it's about letting the unexpected happen and finding things you never searched for...it's about meeting old people but making new conversations...walking through old roads but still feeling nice about it...meeting busy schedules but still finding time for old friends...realizing that you have grown a day older but still feeling young at heart...

live life while you still can...wake up each day and discover something new...and most of all, live for today and enjoy the moment...

Your Song...

music

it's about time you sing your own song...

it's hard to sing your own song when everyone else wants you to sing theirs....friends and people around you can be full of advice about what you should do, when you should do it and how...but only you know exactly what's right for you...

listen to your heart...have faith and courage to sing your own song...for within you lies a very special music just waiting to be sung by you alone...

Acceptance and Accountability...

woman by the sea

We are not perfect. In fact, most of us are damaged goods. We were raised by imperfect parents in an imperfect world. We were educated by flawed teachers and we mingled with fallible peers. We went through life with so much hurts and pains that the trauma is holding us back, preventing us from living the life we are dreaming of. We know we cannot change the past and the only way we can move on is to accept it and work with what we have. We should stop blaming others and our circumstances for what we have become. Blame would not advance us. We cannot control others or events. We can only control our own thoughts and actions. So we should learn to accept the things we cannot change and take responsibility for the choices we make.

Live Well...

life quote

In life, there are two choices: to move forward or to stagnate. If you want to move forward, you have to turn your back from the past and face your present and future with your eyes wide open. You do not leave your other foot stuck in the past. If you do you are immobilized and your failures will hold you back. You are left to cope with “what ifs”, “should haves” and a pile of regrets. Nothing changes and when you feel this way, you start to believe that nothing will change.

If you sincerely want to change, you drop the anger, the pain, the disappointments and the sad experiences behind you. It is hard to leave the past. It is difficult to forgive and forget the people who may have hurt you, but you have to do for your own peace of mind. If you truly want to be free, you mentally close the door of the past firmly behind you and open another door to freedom.

When you leave your past behind, you don’t carry over into your present life a mental chart of the things or actions other people did to you. You do not spend three hours a day wringing your hands and trying to understand why unfortunate incident happened. You do not moan over the unfair judgment passed to you. What you do, if you want to get positively even, is to make your life so successful that your enemies will wonder how you recovered so fast! As one writer says, "Living well is the best revenge."

Our life is determined by the choices we make. We make or break our lives. Sometimes we come out unscathed. Usually, we don’t. Now, it’s up to mend our torn selves and put them back into pieces. Only when this is done can we say that we are free from the negative, misleading past.

“LIFE CAN ONLY BE UNDERSTOOD BACKWARD, BUT IT MUST BE LIVED FORWARD.”

~ i found this online a long time ago...it's very inspiring and worth reflecting on...i hope it will give you some nuggets of wisdom...~
